Dirk Smith, Chief Operating Officer

Dirk Smith will assume the role of chief executive officer at Weir’s Furniture Village in January 2025, following the retirement of current CEO J. Mark Moore. Smith joined Weir’s in 2020 and became senior vice president of operations in 2022, will lead the family-owned business into its next chapter with the Dallas institution. Prior to joining Weir’s, Smith most notably served 15 years with Sealy and a myriad of positions.

United Football League

Vince Pannozzo, Senior Vice President, Creative and Content

The United Football League (UFL) has named Vince Pannozzo senior vice president, responsible for leading the creative and content strategy for the league and all eight teams. Previously, Pannozzo held key roles at Meta, where he most recently was the global marketing lead for sports, entertainment and innovation, creating go-to-market strategies and tentpole activations across the sports and entertainment industry.

Jason Bernstein, Vice President, Strategy and Solutions

Jason Bernstein joins the UFL as vice president of partner strategy and solutions. During his career, he has held roles in sports media, marketing, business development, and leadership at ESPN and Intersport. He brings experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder roles, and has led cross-functional strategic projects from inception to deployment.

Jen Sailer, Vice President, Marketing and Brand

Jen Sailer serves as vice president of marketing and branding. Sailer brings experience in marketing, media, and sponsorships, most recently working for 11 years at the NBA. As the NBA director of brand strategy, she managed the league’s global brand strategy and supported the recent evolution of the NBA’s visual identity, including the introduction of the league’s first logo mnemonic and sonic identity.

Mike Wade, Senior Vice President, Communications

Mike Wade joins the UFL as senior vice president of communications, bringing three decades of experience in sports to the role. Previously, Wade was on the communications staff at the NBA for nearly 18 seasons, where he was recently director of team business and partner communications.  At the NBA, he helped oversee communications efforts supporting the league’s business initiatives involving global content and media, team marketing, finance, and global strategy and innovation.

Kerri Fulks, President and Chief Operating Officer

HCK2 has announced that Kerri Fulks has been named president and COO. In her expanded role, she will oversee the agency’s day-to-day operations, cultivate client relationships and lead the team in delivering innovative marketing solutions that align with each client’s unique needs and objectives. Fulks’ impact on the agency spans all areas of the business. She joined HCK2 in 2009 as an account supervisor and quickly moved through the roles of operations manager, vice president of operations, general manager, and chief operating officer, to which she was named in 2020.
