The annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book features a glittering sprawl of designer products, but the Fantasy Gifts—a roundup of seven or so over-the-top recommendations—have always stolen the show. After 98 years of the iconic holiday guide, the storied Dallas retailer has mastered the art of fantastical curation. There’s the pop culture-adjacent splurge (2024’s is a shopping spree with Emily in Paris costumer Marylin Fitoussi, $175,000) and the big jewelry moment (an 18.05-carat Messika diamond necklace, $777,777). There’s often a souped-up sports car, a “His & Hers” item, and a Michelin-starred chef. This year’s wildest of the wild is a $1.9 million, seven-foot-long gilded calèche (aka carriage) belonging to the 18th-century Spanish royal family. Chic!

Beloved Texas brands occasionally get the lavish Christmas Book treatment. Past Fantasy Gifts have incorporated Paper For Water, Buffalo Gap’s Perini Ranch, and Sweet Tooth Hotel. This year, Neiman Marcus tapped Miron Crosby to join those rarified ranks with a limited-edition cowboy boot (priced at $28,000—practically modest for Fantasy Gifts!), paired with the chance to have your birth chart read by Dua Lipa’s astrologist Rosie Cutter.

Adorned in 18-karat gold stars sourced by Milliard Diamond Concierge and naturally sourced turquoise, the limited-edition Celestial Boot is hand-stitched and hand-lasted with over 3,000 stones bejeweling each jet-black leather pair. For more on how the collaboration came to be, we spoke with Miron Crosby founders and sisters Sarah Means and Lizzie Means Duplantis.

All Miron Cross boots are exquisite, but there must be additional pressure for excellence when Neiman Marcus asks you to create a Fantasy Gift boot. Walk me through the design process.

Sarah Means: Designing something for such an iconic holiday tradition definitely comes with a bit of extra pressure, but we were really excited to create something that felt special. Growing up on a ranch in West Texas, we spent so many nights stargazing, so the idea of a starry night sky just felt right. It’s luxurious, it’s a little dreamy—everything you’d want in a Fantasy Gift. The whole process was all about precision and creativity.

How many of the Celestial Boots are being made? How bespoke are y’all able to get?

SM: There are only a few pairs available with each being uniquely crafted by hand featuring pavé diamonds, turquoise, and 18-karat gold, procured by Milliard Diamond Concierge, which is also based in Dallas.

Love the astrology tie-in. How did you land on Rosie Cutter?

Lizzie Means Duplantis:  Her vision aligns perfectly with our brand ethos of self-expression and personalization. Her readings add a beautiful, introspective element that perfectly complements the celestial theme.

As Texas girls, what does it mean to you both to be included in this year’s Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gifts?

SM: This isn’t just a milestone for our brand, it’s also a tribute to our roots. We’re always excited to bring a little piece of Texas to the fashion world.

Do you have a favorite Fantasy Gift through the years? (The Neiman Marcus Slumber Party was a personal fave.)

LM: It’s so hard to pick one! We loved the Cannes & Carats gift last year where you could take a trip to the French Riviera with Maison Chopard. Who wouldn’t want to go on a glamorous vacation to the South of France and get outfitted in diamonds?
