On August 15, more than 900 guests joined to celebrate D Magazine‘s 50th anniversary at the iconic Longhorn Ballroom and honor the very best that Dallas has to offer at Best of Big D. Throughout the evening, our award-winning restaurants and bars served delicious food and cocktails: Cattleack Barbeque, Cookie Society, Jonathon’s Forestwood, Koryo, Lubellas Patisserie, Niwa Japanese BBQ, Panaderia La Mejor, Resident Taqueria, Ruins, Rye, Scardello Cheese, Surf Camp, Taco y Vino, Too Thai Street Eats, Urban Tadka, and Wu Wei Din.
Guests were treated to an array of photo ops, including the MOTUS Glambot, a classic booth sponsored by St. John’s Episcopal School, and an interactive 50th anniversary themed photo display that was gradually filled with guest photos throughout the evening. Entertainment for the evening included Emerald City Band and the Longhorn Ballroom Players.
