From Fall 2024

We asked Morgan Farrow of Morgan Farrow Interiors: Aside from people and pictures, what’s the one thing you’d save in a fire?
“If I had to guess, I’d say our record collection is probably around 250 to 300 albums. I inherited my parents’ collection at 22, and my husband, Thomas, and I have added to it through the years as our music tastes have evolved. We love to hunt for classics while traveling or picking through estate sales, but we also snag new releases at shows we attend. With decades of music in our archives, we believe it tells a story of who we are.
When I was a kid, my parents introduced me to some of the music I love most today. I have a Willie Nelson album that always takes me back to dancing with my dad in our living room on Sundays after church. While our girls will definitely continue to follow current artists that their friends enjoy, we want to provide a vaster music portfolio that someday they will look back on, listen to, and pass along from their childhoods as well.
We listen to music as a family daily, and it’s often a lighthearted battle on who gets to be the DJ. Rather than having a TV on for background noise for cooking dinner, getting ready in the mornings, or hanging outside, you can always find music playing in our house. Our music room and collection feel like they are a part of us, and they can be a great conversation starter to help people understand our family right when you walk in.”
