What is STAR+PLUS, and who qualifies?

STAR+PLUS is a Texas Medicaid-managed care program for adults who have disabilities or are age 65 or older. People enrolled in STAR+PLUS receive Medicaid benefits through a health plan of their choice. STAR+PLUS provides health care services, such as doctor visits, and long-term services and supports (LTSS), (such as helping in your home with daily activities), home modifications, respite (short-term supervision), personal assistance and prescription medications.
