The Dallas Destination Design event, held during Dallas Design Week, first featured a design keynote panel at Dallas Market Center “Bringing Hospitality Home: Drawing Influence & Inspiration from Hotel-Inspired Design” with A list designers Chad Dorsey, Melinda Clark, and Kara Adams. Afterwards, the design community traveled by private Coach to an exclusive VIP designer experience in the coveted Harwood District of Dallas.
Hôtel Swexan, by world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, has been awarded the prestigious MICHELIN guide “One Key” and is recognized as one of the most outstanding hotels in the country for its elevated interior design. Guests enjoyed a bespoke experience with craft cocktails, live jazz music, Swiss Texan-inspired bites, and private design insider tours led by Hôtel Swexan Director of Interior Design, Melinda Clark with Ginger Hartford, Director of Design for Dallas Market Center to learn about the award-winning hotel and design process.
